Why the age limit?
My parents said I was kicking down the uterine walls the day Clemson fell Dec'58. Raise them early and let them claim all the NCs they want.
Take a kid fishing and take them to Death Valley.

I only bring this up because I hate that the younger generations still claim that their respective teams have all these championships yet have only experienced a few of them.
How stupid. What difference is that when "claiming" NC's? Short answer is NONE.

Absolutely none...I've never contributed to a team that has won a national championship.

Makes perfect sense. Not many you could claim before your lifetime, eh?

I grew up in BR and went to grad school at LSU. But I went to undergrad at Texas in the mid-80's.

So I've experienced more titles than any of you, major or minor.

3, one in baseball and two in football. As far as the other 5 in baseball, I watched all of them live, except in 1993. I had to work that day, but as I drove cars around, I turned the game on and listened to what I could. 16 strikeouts is still a record for a championship game.

You're just pissed that UF has zero tradition prior to Spurrier.

Take it easy on him. They had tradition before Spurrier. Just not a good one.

I was around for the 1961, 1964, 1965, 1978, 1979, 1992 and 2009 ones in football. Not sure of the ladies gymnastic years.

Was also around for the 1941 one, but even I don't really claim that one. Besides, I was only eight at the time.
