I guess that depends on how bad everyone wants to help out not losing to Troy.
I think it depends more on how many people want to sit through a game LSU should dominate in 45 degree whether with a wind chill on top of that.

How many fans in Tiger Stadium Saturday night?
How many people or how many REAL FANS?
Some of us REAL FANS schedule our entire Fall around LSU football. Hence, this open date filled by a hurricane moved game.
I wish I could be there to scream and shout but this date has been filled since May.

The season is over for the bandwaggoners who make up about 1/4 of the fanbase. So I would guess about 70k for the game.

The actual number will be closer to 85 than 50. Likely in the 75-80 range.
You guys do know that the new AD is very opposed to a stadium expansion for this very reason...and I tend to agree with him. There is still a lot to play for, but people don't seem to give a crap anymore, since LSU is out of the SEC and national championship picture. I'd be willing to bet that the fan turnout for whatever bowl LSU goes to will be very low. That's a damn shame because the team deserves better.

Of course, we'll never know because they'll announce a paid attendance upwards of 91K.

Geez...so you're not a real fan if you don't make the game?
Some of us don't live close. Some of us have kids that play football on Saturdays. Some of us can't make every game.
Not making the game doesn't mean you're not a fan; it means you have some sort of life that may require a few of your Saturdays in the fall.
I'll be cheering for the Tigers, but I won't be in the stadium. And I am renewing my four tickets next year, so you can't have mine.

you use the term "fan" loosely.
86,000 fans
55,000 TRUE fans
15,000 fanatic fans
0 handheld motorized fans (gonna be a chilly one
