if you swap miles and saban around with miles at lsu first and saban inheriting all this talent. Saban would have won 10 games every year.

You mean the 9-2 team during an 11 game season?

Saban didn't "coach" the last game. Wayne and Stanley made sure to that.

During Saban's five seasons at LSU (2000-2004), he had 24 players that were selected in the NFL draft. Of these 24 players, 17 were already on the LSU roster before Saban ever coached a game as a Tiger.

Just reading this, I am reminded of what a disappointing season 2006 was.

Just to give your small brain a perspective:

205/12 = roughly 17ppg in 2004

The 2007 NC team gave up roughly 20ppg
The 2008 Malveto disaster gave up roughly 24ppg

It seemed like so much more than that. I guess the Georgia Tech game and cupcakes weighed the average down a little bit.

True. We played some real cupcakes that year too.

SEC opponents scored: 21, 24, 51, 17, 52, 27, 31, 31

Includes pick 6s, but still.

Miles has been here 6 years mostly with the cup overflowing with talent and has 1 SEC west and SEC championship to show for it. GC at auburn has done that in only 2, Saban has done it twice in 4 years, and they both have gone undefeated ,Hell Saban won the SEC Championship TWICE here at LSU .Miles has found away to lose 2 games a year no matter how much talent LSU has had.

Don't disagree. But Miles has won the SECW twice.

Still, 1 SEC Championship per 6 years is turribel from what he was left.

shite man, Saban won 2 in 5 at LSU and 1 in 4 at Bama so far.

Yeah and those 6 years really suck, huh.

61 wins...best winning % in modern history.
2 west titles...no school in the west has done better.
Most SEC wins other than Florida.
5 NR teams...no SEC west school has done better.
3 NR teams in the Top 5...best in school history.
4th 10 win season...best in school history.
6 bowl games in 6 years...2nd best in school history.
In 5 years the 3rd most wins in school history.
The only coach in school history to have won the Coaches poll, the AP poll, and BCS title in same year.

Yep, you right...LSU hasn't done much in the last 6 seasons with our talent.

I'm not saying the man doesn't slip up or is the best since "The Bear" or anything like that, but dang...his record here is pretty freaking good if not the best of all time. How much pissing and moaning are we gonna do over some of our best results in our HISTORY???

I often wonder what LSU some have followed in the past in order to be able to look down their nose at the past 6 seasons.
