This is the thing. We haven't even played a good team yet.

After the season is over, O will make that decision.

The question is do you feel comfortable with O making that decision? He's the one that made the decision to hire ALL of them (promote in Ensminger's case)

Think about it. LSU's "stock" as a program was probably as high as it's ever been following last season. The WR coach jumped from complete unknown to NFL OC. The DC got a power conf. HC job at a program that had just played for the conf. title. LSU was clearly willing to pay huge money to assistant coaches.

The "demand" for LSU in the coaching world may have never been higher. The "supply" of coaches from whom LSU could chose from may also have never been higher. With that, Orgeron selected two guys with no demand whatsoever. One, he agreed to grossly over pay (Pelini) relative to his market value.

O agreed to pay Canada $4.5 million for 3 years. He got tired of him after 4 games and forced LSU to pay nearly $2.0 million to buy out of that mistake. He then promoted a guy (Ensminger) who had zero outside demand and was, himself, reluctant to take the OC job. The offense was average, at best, forcing LSU to have to look for help for their OC.

O inherited Aranda. Once Dave left O seemed to be in a position to have his pick of DC's. Thus far, his choice (while unpopular and questionable at the outset) now appears to be a disaster. Point being, do you really trust O to make the right choice?
