Deichmann hit a similar one in Fayetteville AR, the ball looked like it was still going up when it cleared the right field fence, over the light poles. They never found that ball to my knowledge.

Man, I miss Deichman’s neon bat. I wish they would pass that on like they do with #8.

don’t think the announcers ever saw the ball and assumed it was foul

They even said it was a line drive. I’m sure it was a moon shot. I thought all SEC schools would have TrackMan this year. Guess FLA is too cheap to put it in in time. Unlikely since year in and year out, they have one of the largest budgets in the SEC

We’ll never know. Florida’s team sure doesn’t want to find out.

Florida's stadium (or lack there of) mixed with mediocre camera work made it hard to find many balls hit in the outfield and home runs.

Didn't look like anyone on the berm was scrambling to retrieve it so I assume it left the park.

Get Marucci to paint one for Crews, Joubert, Travinski and Berry.

Longest I can remember since probably Mahtook against Harvard a while back.

TBH, I think his homerun Friday was hit further. That ball Sunday was a line drive that landed on the concourse at the top of the hill in left field. We've had a few that were probably hit further than that this year. The longest we've ever had in recent memory was Deichman's 487 ft homerun over the intimidator.

I think Mikie Mahtook hit one over the score board in his freshman season.

He did, against Harvard, but that Deichman ball was still hit further. Scoreboard was shorter back then and where Deichman cleared the intimidator was further towards CF than Mahtook's ball. It was also on more of a rope. Deichman also hit another ball in the power alley that went like 465 that year,

The hardest hit ball I ever saw was when Rendon of Rice hit his face on the digital scoreboard game 1 of the 09 Super Regional.
