It's hard with the history and the current storyline. Everytime I hear the word Bama or bitch, I'm forced to think of him.

Saban's the best college coach in the game. Was true when he was a Tiger & is still true. Miles is average to slightly above average. He doesn't get a hall pass from me just because he crawfished into the NC with two losses and Sabans players. If I sound pissed its because I am. I have steadfastly hoped that we had a really good coach all the way up to the Moo-state game. I will always cheer like heck for my Tigers but they don't have the right man coaching. His play calling belongs in the Big 10 of the 1970s. Nice guy, not a great coach.

I think that having to play him each year is like picking off a fresh scab, or seeing your ex out with a new guy - it keeps the pain going. KC.

Sadly, Saban has become to LSU fans what the Bear is to the Bammer fans

And it's even more pitiful here. At least Bear stayed at Bama for a couple of decades, kept them on top for a long time and won a bunch of NC's there.

You just mentioned him!

BTW: How is Saban's team doing the past few years? Just asking.

ALSO: Be honest, Who would take Miles over Saban if they had their choice?

It is just the reality that some fans have a hard time grasping.

There will be MUCH less talk about Saban when LSU has a coach that is just as good or better than him.

Or if/when Saban leaves the SEC it will also die down.

Every SEC coach gets mentioned in threads on this board. I think Houston Nutt has been mentioned the most this week. Tiger Fans still know Saban better then Tide fans.

Irony: many LSU fans chastised Saban after the 2001 Ole Miss debacle.
