at home basketball games for students?
I am planning on using my cousin's student ID to get in the Ole Miss game this weekend. Do they look at the ID's or just scan them?

I think they scan them at the door. But, if you want to sit in the student section, just buy a regular ticket then walk over to the student section. The guards don't really look that hard at the ID's.

I have used an ID before to get into a FB game a couple years ago and the girl on the ID didn't look anything like me.

they hardly look at them. its not like football if that puts it into perspective. as long as your cousin is in "good standing" with the university, should be no problem.

I got into the Vandy football game this season with student ID. My friend looks like me though.

Like everyone said, they don't really check the ID, they just scan it. BUT, if you want to stand down in the pit area close to the court, you're going to need a wrist band. They hand those out by the student gate. You could probably just ask for one and they'll give it to you.

this. I walk in by the student entrance now since my gf is still in school and i have season tix and they always offer me a wrist band

You are screwed...everyone knows LSU security reads message boards to set up their security strategy for athletic events. Just like recruits use the boards to make their commitment decisions.

Im a female and I have her ID it looks more like me than I thought..hair color makes a difference
