I don't really ever see any basketball coaches doing that.

Really.....well, IMHO if you're not your only hurting yourself. I can't imagine a coach not doing all they could in that regard if that in fact is a factor in your success.

I can tell you for a fact Kim does and actively.

I hope soon, Moscona was floating the idea today that they retain him

Mascona will do maybe 3 - 3-5 minute segments on basketball all year. His fellow Golden Bear is not the AD anymore. Not sure he has any credibility in talking hoops at all.

My response was to a question about McMahon going around and taking Twitter pictures with coaches around the state.

When the OP got several responses about that not really being the thing, he changed his post. So my response isn’t wrong, the OP is just a pussy.

Sorry, had no way of knowing - I of course thought I was responding to no coaches try to raise $$ for their program. Thanks for clarifying.

Moscona is for sure not always right (who is?) but he made some good points about the cost to fire him. You have pay him and his staff’ buyouts and then pay the new coach and staff probably more and then fund a team on top of that. LSU is probably not going to do that for this sport.

I'm not the fire the coach guy - and I never will be. But a good hire and you can make that money back in a few years. Gotta play the long game. Now can or will we make the right hire. Legit question.

There are still basketball money guys out there, I know one very well. You dangle the right name in front of them and they'll front a buyout. That won't be a reason they don't part ways with CMM IMHO.
