Did any LSU fan actually think he would come out and rush for 80 yards and throw for 200? Jordan was never a good quarterback. Never. He had good moments and that was it. Take a look at the UGA game and then tell me how any person in the world would have thought he was going to do better against Bama. This is 100% Miles fault. Ryan Perriloux didn't do this either. NOT RECRUITING A GREAT QUARTERBACK. We're doing it now, it's not like we just learned how. Not putting Mett or Lee is proving to be catastrophic.

Because he played like hammered shite. Not even playing like shite, hammered shite.

The OL didn't play well at all either.

That said,

I lean toward this. Not sure if it was catastrophic but it could hardly have been any worse.

I have never been a JJ fan, but it really is ridiculous all of the hate he is getting. at the end of the day this all falls on Miles. at least JJ was TRYING to win. it just wasn't working.

Just because he didn't have the ability to do something doesnt mean he shouldn't be partially faulted. He has all the tools to be a good qb. Maybe he should have done something different since he got to college, like learn how to read a defense, and figure out a way to think quicker.

Those who do are not looking at that game objectively and their feelings goes back to the issue of JJ vs Lee. I really thought Miles comes out with a surprise, like plying Mettenberger or at least alternating between Lee and JJ to keep Bama defense off balance.

Not throwing teammates under the bus and saying how well he played would be a good trick for him to learn as well!

By fumbling twice, throwing a shuffle pass to Ware's back? No downfield passes? None. Ok, well one I can think of to Landry but it was way off the mark.

I've defended the kid for a long time but he may as well have been blindfolded out there. He looked completely lost.

I blame the East Baton Rouge District Attorney's office.

A grand jury indictment is not needed for simple battery or second degree battery. You can file either charge with a piece of paper called a bill of information.

If the DAs office felt simple battery was the appropriate charge they could have just filed a bill of information. The fact they went for an indictment tells me they did not want the heat for the charge being "reduced" or they wanted to give some legitimacy to the reduced charges.

That just stinks to me.

I agree he sucks. my post history will clearly tell you how I feel about both Jefferson and Miles. HOWEVER at the end of the day this all falls on Miles. you can't seriously believe that Jefferson was trying to play poorly. he was trying his best, but has always been a scrub and should have been pulled at the half (technically he shouldn't even have been the starter).

No doubt. I can't, I just cannot understand how he stayed with what wasn't working.

He was. It was probably the worst game I've seen him play, and that's counting that awful game against Penn State when we played on a wet sponge.

But he just stood there and got sacked. Twice that I can recall. Don't even throw try to throw the ball away. Just stand there.

IMO, it's 50/50 blame. The comments JJ made after the game piss me off even more. He actually thinks he did ok. Everyone else played like crap.

Bad offensive game planning. Leave Jefferson alone. BTW I am not a Jefferson backer.

We cannot blame JJ for his inabilities. We all, each and every one of us, new that if it came down to the QB making the plays needed to win, JJ could not do it.
That is why any other fanbase, who's QB was suspended at the start of the year, in the face of the schedule LSU had, would have went into panic mode. Not LSU, you could hear a collective sigh of relief on this board. So, no one, I believe, are shocked at that performance. I think the biggest surprise, is the performance, or lack there of, is that of CLM. The MadHatter pulled his biggest Hat trick of all time Monday night, and that was, NO TRICK AT ALL.

very easily actually, and he doesnt do himself any favors by his dumbass remarks and throwing his teammates under the buss...i think he deserves what he gets, I actually think Lee got waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much three years ago because he actually felt bad for his poor play, then worked his arse off for 3 years, got better, grew up and got fricked by his coaches...lee is 10x the man Jefferson is....and les for that matter....les wont even own up to his own mistakes....the players are tired of that hence all the talk about players leaving...

I have a problem wih JJ shovle passing the ball to the Bama defense then looking at Ware like it was his fault. I have a problem with the coaches not seeing JJ blaming everyone on the field and not pulling him. After the shovel pass Bama missed the field goal and I was pumped. I said Lee is going to come in and make it happen. Instead JJ comes back in and continues to blame everyone. It was clearly a group effort, but I blame JJ for not taking responsibility for his poor play.
