Do you not remember when we played GT in 2008? What happened there?

You’re right that if you get a triple option team in the middle of the year it really tough, but we literally have all offseason to work on discipline and responsibilities.

We're not spending our entire offseason preparing for Georgia Southern
Pretty sure a good bit of it will be focused on Texas.

I would say somewhere between solid (what we've seen in recent years, not super flashy but holding opponents to a winnable point total) and exceptional (2011)

lost Bradie after 02, GOAT LSU defense in 03

Lost Shep after ‘10, arguably better GOAT LSU defense in ‘11

Devin gone after ‘18, Delpit and the baws about to keep the GOAT tradition alive in ‘19

Stingley will be an absolute game breaker. The hype is warranted.

If we can get Shelvin to perform from game one like he did in the last couple games our defense will be very good. We get Chaisson back along with Divinity, Queen, & Phillips, could be one of the best LB corps in CFB. I think we’ll see Jacoby Stevens get a lot of PT. Our DB’s will be great as usual.
