Selfishly as fans we could benefit greatly from a culmination of struggles this year. I always love seeing our guys stay healthy, play well and then get drafted high even if it’s at the expense of LSU to some degree (i.e. leaving early).

Guys I thought we’d have a strong possibility of losing like Watson, Hess, and Feduccia seem a lot more likely to benefit from staying. Just last week I was saying that I thought Watson would still receive a high draft grade. Now I think he should stay.

I also expect a lot of our guys to make the next step in becoming more consistent players. I think Slaughter is getting his confidence back slowly but surely which is great sign.

If we can get 1 or 2 of our projected high-draft pick commits to sign among all the big arms we’re bringing in, LSU should be stacked.

How about enjoying some Todd Peterson antics and hopeful great current play before thinking bout next year?

What’s wrong with this season?

I was able to make it to 3 games at the Box which is always a blast & have had fun watching all the other games on tv

If you haven’t enjoyed this season that’s on you, not the team

Losing a lot of experience, including Bain, potentially both Jordans, and Duplantis, not to mention the ones noted previously.

May be jumping the gun on this, but what’s the likelihood we get Cam Sanders back?

He had a shaky 2018 but has become a very nice asset in the pen.

Every baseball season is fun for me, but some more than others.

Always optimistic about the next season.

At this rate, all 3 major sports will be loaded next year. Then, next year, they'll all be loaded the next year. We're going to be right one time.

Comparatively speaking we lose very little experience. We should be VERY good next year

We lose Bain, Beau and Coomes for sure. That’s it. Maybe Hess but he certainly could benefit from another year. Duplantis is a late round pick at best for MLB. He doesn’t have the arm or power to be an everyday professional outfielder. Watson is the one with a decision to make. He has all the tools. We’ll return a ton of high end pitching. It will be a loaded team next year.
