I’d say they jump to 2 or 3.

To jump that high we would have to be dominant. All top 5 teams are really good this year. To pass others up you have to show dominance.

Probably won’t jump anyone. Maybe Georgia if anyone. Not fair but media loves Bama OSU and clemson.

I've got the same question. My realistic guess is 3. They won't jump Clemson and Alabama.. media has preexisting biases towards those 2 based on the last several years which shouldn't be factored into this year but it clearly happens.
The question is would we jump UGA and Ohio State? Again, you have a preexisting notion that these were the decided playoff favorites headed into the year and LSU was an outsider.

No higher than 3, but it will be hard to crack the top 4 unless our win is outright dominant. It will probably be:
1 Alabama/Clemson
2 Clemson/Alabama
3 Ohio State
4 LSU
5 Georgia
6 Oklahoma
The perfect weekend
LSU 42
UF 10
Alabama 38
A&M 31
Clemson 24
Florida State 28
Ohio State *Bye*
UGA 34
USC 27
Oklahoma 52
Texas 56

4 LSU

Here is ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW.
After LSU handily beats Florida, Mississippi State and Auburn, they will be ranked 1st in the initial CFP rankings that will be released on Tuesday, November 5th.

OSU jumped up by beating a bunch of shite teams, if we beat Florida and cover the spread we should at least be 3.
