How early can I set up a tailgate?

I've been told 4 PM on Fri....but can I get away with it earlier?

Haven't you heard? No one is gonna tailgate because the game starts at 2:30. 
But to answer your question it seems like people have set up earlier in previous weeks with no problems.

For Florida, may people were putting up tent frames on Thursday mainly along nicholson and skip bertman drive though.

"TENTS" cant go up till say 6:00 AM on Sat, but a "frame" aint a "tent". Refering to Easy Ups.

This year they appear to be much more lax about it. Last year facility services were confiscating tents and in most areas laying them down.

Depends where you want to do it. If it's in the interior of campus, you're pretty much stuck to 4-4:30 on Friday.
