Aranda's defense is going to be better down the stretch. How much? I can't tell you yet, but little question that unit plays better this week, next week and coming weeks.
Now, Canada's "regressing like a mug" offense? I wish I was as optimistic. No phase of the offense seems to be clicking. We have a few guys making a few plays here and there, but it looks like they're underwater or stuck in quicksand most of the time.

I don't think we can blame O for all of the defense problems. The lack of a dominating Key, Lawrence and Alexander injuries, and playing several freshmen are causing defensive problems. Key, Adams, Beckwith, etc. probably made Aranda seem better than he is as several great defenders made Chavis seem better than he was.

Dave Aranda is still one of the best DC's in college football. Take away any teams best d linemen and 2 more on the two deep and then have them play 4 or 5 freshman and you're going to have issues.
