How does LSU rank in the NIL world- in terms of competing with other SEC schools?

How well organized is LSU relative to handling this new obstacle in CFB?
Have the administration and the coaches fully embraced it? "for better or worse, it's here to stay" or is there some resentment about it because there are not enough guardrails on the system?
A follow up question is, do you think the money well is deep enough for all programs to being paying players a lot of money, like 1 million for a top rated QB?
We know universities rely heavily on outside donations, now we're paying players like we're putting together some kind of small NFL franchise...
We're already paying top dollar for coaches, upgrading facilities, free education, top trainers and nutrition,
and so on, and the fans all know all too well tickets, parking and everything else involved to travel to see a game, the totals costs is out of hand..
Everyone in America is dealing with rising costs of everything... it just seems like we're destined to empty the well and ruin this great sport.
All that said, Americans love their football and have demonstrated many times over, they will shell out money they probably don't have for entertainment...
Is LSU or rather the LSU alumni support group in a good spot to compete in the NIL world? Every student athlete is now thinking about how to tap in NIL opportunities...
Some universities are using NIL branding to help former players... Hope LSU is thinking big...because that's what it's going to take

That SI cover with Angel and Livvy is great for recruiting

LSU seems to do a great job facilitating true NIL.

Not really. I mean, of course it's not bad for us.
But I don't think people look at Livvy and think LSU is the reason she's this massive star bringing in millions. She's a smoking hot gymnast that could do what she does on social at any school.

This. We are just behind in the giving out money from booster part

Ok. Now do angel.

Is sports illustrated still a thing? I feel like I haven’t seen an issue in person since I was at my pediatricians office in 2000

I agree it’s great for exposure, but I don’t think a recruit is going to pick LSU over a school that’s offering the $500,000 more because they saw Livvy and Angel on the cover of a magazine.

I think LSU does perfectly fine with NIL. I don't believe Kelly is going to allow us to get into bidding wars over kids who are picking strictly to the highest bidder though, and we should all be fine with that even though most on here are not.
