10-3 but we won't lose to FL and Bama. We'll split one of those and lose 2 more in the SEC. Don't believe WVU or NC will be capable of beating us. Good bowl game vs hopefully a Big 10 team so we can make up for that loss to Penn. Oh and JJ will exceed expectations. not much, but hell yall aren't expecting much anyways.

Tossups would be UNC and Arky. WVU.. maybe a tossup.

Houston Nutt't teams have beaten LSU three straight years. Talent inequity, be damned. I certainly am not dismissing it as an LSU win.

I honestly don't think this offense will be stopped that often... Having Shep, Randle, Toliver, Ford, Murph, AND Ridley is scary... I'm just glad I'm a LSU fan

I say we finish the regular season 10-2 with a loss to either Bama/Fla and then one other conference loss. Will need help from Bama to get to championship game. If we beat them then i still believe we will need them to lose to someone else. schedule is too tough with too much to improve on to see anything better than 10-2

I also predict that Lee will regain the starting job.

Losses to UF and Bama. Toss ups are Arky, Ole Miss, UNC, WVU. Will win two of those. So probably 8-4 with a win in the Cotton or Outback.

That or 7-5 seems pretty likely if no QB steps up.

If JJ steps up and plays simply "decent enough" I think we can split FL/Bama.

If the cards fall the right way, I think we can go 11-1 or 10-2, but more realistically, 9-3.

Looking for a Capital One Bowl or Cotten Bowl appearance.

We graduated a lot of people and I don't buy the "Miles only starts upperclassmen/ not the best player" argument. We had our best 11 on the field -- and over half of them are gone.
The best 11 is relative to that year. Many people on this board confuse talent with performance. Considering the last 4 recruiting classes that our coaching staff has brought in, it is likely that our talent level on the field will increase over the next 2-3 years. Performance is a combination of talent, knowledge of the scheme and ability to read your keys. People are quick to say a young player should start becasue they have great talent but they may not know the plays or how to read their keys. An upperclassman may have less talent but might start becasue they know the playbook and can read their keys which leads to better performance. We may very well have players stepping in that are more talented than their departed teammates. The key to the season is if they have put the time in to learn the scheme and their keys in order to maxamize their talent and have all 11 guys on the same page.

Don't underestimate Crowton's ability to misuse talent and confuse players.

I would agree with you, but we had similar weapons this year and didn't use them. And let's be honest, our offense was less than stellar
