"The show has become 50% commercial time, 30% joke around time, and 10% jack off USC and Notre Dame time. That leaves only about 10% on coverage of the rest of the football games."

Better than 90% jack off USC time that it was 3-4 years ago and 75% time spent saying "Tim Tebow" that it has been the past 2-3 years.
I work at the Cox Building in the student athlete tutoring center and he's taking classes and getting tutored and participating in voluntary summer football workouts...

so yeah, i'd say 100%

otherwise, why put up the effort?
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I've had it with this mothafrickin Nick on this mothafrickin Rant! :banghead:

He's gone and is never coming back. He was a good coach for LSU but now it's time to MOVE ON and be glad we have someone that's not Lane Kiffin :rotflmao:

If JJ steps up and plays simply "decent enough" I think we can split FL/Bama.

If the cards fall the right way, I think we can go 11-1 or 10-2, but more realistically, 9-3.

Looking for a Capital One Bowl or Cotten Bowl appearance.

"LSU under Miles has still been able to hang with the elite of the elite even when things weren’t going all that well."

LSU's down seasons boil down to mainly two things: Poor QB play (which all started when RP was booted off the team), and the O-line not being able to protect those inexperienced QB's. And even still, the article's right...we played teams like Florida and Bama really close even with those troubles. Take away the bagillion interceptions and sacks over the last two seasons that were directly caused by the problems listed above, and we've got ourselves a damn strong football team...and with our recruiting like has been...we're only going to get stronger.

:geauxtigers:
That makes no sense...

In a sport where a coach's worth is based on the amount of championships he wins, in your scenario, you're basically saying that even if Les (over a 10 year span) won a second NC and finished in the top 5 every year that you would still whine and complain about how he's not as good as Saban? Who would give a shite? If that was the case, Les would more than prove his worth.

It's time to accept that Saban is gone. And he's never coming back. What use is it to complain about a down season or two even though Nick had his share of them here as well. :spank:

Not saying this is going to happen, but IDEALLY I see the best case scenario for the new 16 team SEC looking like this:

West:

Alabama
Arkansas
Aubrun
LSU
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Texas
Oklahoma

East:

Florida
Georiga
Kentucky
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vandy
Florida State
Georgia Tech

Red River shootout still in tact, Florida/FSU rivalry not turns to a conference game, UGA/GT get a conference game every year, plus those schools have pretty sizable markets and fanbases.
