One of the biggest differences I see is pass rush. Florida is #1 in the SEC in sacks and tied for 8th in the country with 20 sacks on the year. Georgia is last in the SEC and tied for 118th in country with 6 sacks.

We're more of a bend but don't break style this year for some reason. We don't tend to send more than 3 or 4 on a pass rush and then play tight coverage behind it. It's worked well so far. Not sure how well it will work this Saturday though.

Then no worries, right?!?

I live and work in the BR area and love my Tiger neighbors. I rout for LSU except when they play the Tide, but c'mon bros! Georgia has a crazy good team with Few weaknesses, regardless of whom they play. The schedules are created years in advance and you never know if a team is going to be lousy, good or great when they go on the schedule. BTW, there are teams that match up well against some teams and not so well against others... very difficult to know sometimes. That being said, LSU will have a very difficult time keeping up with the scoring of GA.

Also, MS State has a very good defense, don't overlook these guys... even at home. Fitzgerald is a wild card and will give Bama fits!

I've said this many times before... Bama's defense is not as good as it has been in the past. But, it's not the defense you need to worry about. The offense is ELITE this year. Tua has as many as 4 or 5 targets in every down and they all seem to be very good at catching and then running. Plus, there are 4 very very good running backs, plus Hurts and Tua running. The Tiger defense is better but they will need to be perfect everywhere on the field to stop the Bama offense. I don't mean this as an insult! Tigers will slow down Bama's offense but your offense isn't that proficient (although can can definitely get better before Nov).

Texas A&M will give the Tigers a run too. Playing at A&M is as difficult as playing in BR.

Bottom line... if LSU doesn't fix a few things that remarkable 5-0 start may not matter much and will be forgotten, no matter how many pre-season top 10 teams you beat. Miami and Auburn may very well not finish in the top 20 by the end of the season and those two victories may not look as glamorous as they did a couple of weeks ago.

Best of luck to LSU Tigers. I'll be routing for you (except on Nov 3rd).

I enjoy reading these blogs. Many of the people posting here have interesting takes and opinions. Many provides interesting opinions, or stats, or different view points... and then there's people like you. You know, the "just shut the frick up" group with sub-par IQs and nothing relative to add. Every team fan blog has guys like you. You believe you win your argument with a "shut the frick up" but in reality you simply debase your fan base with your razor sharp intellect.

I'm going to have a terrific day and very likely... the rest of the season.

To the rest of the LSU nation... Good luck and Geaux Tigers!

You enjoy sitting on your Hawaiian pulpit being a Bama fan on the tiger rant and telling us you are well versed in our issues.

You are trying to bring intellect into the arguement when it’s just a bunch of cliches and backhanded sincereness.

Yeah, I don't know. I think LSU will definitely affect Fromm's passes. Your secondary is by far the best in the SEC. Like most SEC teams, it will be difficult to run on GA's front line. I hope you are right though... Brossette looks impressive and will only get better!

However, I think your front D will affect the GA running and that could certainly lead to some interceptions when they go to passing instead. The wildcard may be the new freshman QB Fields who is a much better runner; and he can throw too.

It's a very good matchup. SHould be an exciting game to watch. Best of Luck and Geaux Tigers!

Nope, I live and work around Tiger fans every day. I have just as much right to bring an opinion as do you. But your comments are not an argument for or against... it was "just shut the frick up". Did I miss that? Make a cogent argument.

BTW... my son goes to LSU and I pay the tuition... so, by proxy, I probably do something you haven't done or will never do... pay tuition at LSU.
