A&M had 7 sacks. Like most, not sure they can handle the juggernaut known as the LSU defensive line..

i believe tamu is leading the country in sacks/game

I wouldn't look at that stat in a vacuum. First, it was his first start ever. Second, TAMU led the nation in sacks last year and lead it again this year. He's still young, but he's grown exponentially in the first few games. Not saying he won't have problems, but I think you are underestimating him a bit

I agree. I was impressed with him Saturday. He looked as good as any QB I've seen this year. He was excellent in the pocket and on the move as well. He threw some strikes into tight places. He's a much improved QB. Hopefully Mett can show the same improvement.

Not taking anything away from Florida but they were playing Kentucky. Kentucky might be the worst SEC team in the last ten years.

He has definitely not seen a defense like LSU but LSU has not played a QB or an offense as solid as UF this year.

The question is how will Mett do against our defense. LSU has not protected him well at all and Mett has looked WAY more vulnerable to turnovers than Driskel has....and against inferior opponents at that.

I am definitely not predicting a UF win but I wouldn't consider it an upset if Florida wins that game in The Swamp. If we win the turnover battle, I think we win the game. If LSU turns us over more...it could be a route.

If LSU plays anything like they did against a very very average Auburn team, Florida will absolutely beat LSU.

Miles tried to work on our passing attack during a real game. It backfired. Hurt our defense and running game. That is why it was close.

I bet on Florida Miles starts running the majority of snaps from the first quarter. Get back to wearing down defenses. It'll work on Florida and SC, but not Bama. Unless he feels our passing attack is ready and do or die time against the Gators?

The game hasn't even started, and our defense is already crushing his head:

Seriously, I bet he has a headache watching our defensive film.

The Arkansas game actually scares me alot, we could overlook them and get complacent. Especially if we are undefeated and looking ahead to the SECCG. Could be a trap game, they are still a potent team

lol.. wut??
They are the only ahead of Kentucky, Vandy, and Auburn in offense - and they've only played 1 SEC game..
They are last in defense.. 30 more points allowed than #2.

Arkansas is about as potent as pop rocks and coke..

LSU rolls Florida.. I truly believe AU was our clunker for the year.. Keith Price > Driskel.. We had problems with Newton and Tebow because they were probably the best Qb's to play for their teams.. ever.. Driskel is to Florida as JL was to LSU... capable.. but nothing special..

He's not ready to be the passer they will need to stretch the D. Would have helped Florida to play this week to give him more game time reps. That said Florida's offense is better than Auburns.

Florida's D looks to be improved and will be a test for our O. Mett needs to improve on changing snap count and better ball control when pocket collapses.

If game plays out like it should we win by 8. That seldom happens in SEC game. I think our d-backs get us some turnovers in this one.

Whoa...wanna speak about protection?

7 sacks vs TxAM
2 sacks vs Kentucky

Bowling Green gave you all you wanted.

LSU got its first SEC road win with a rough crowd.

I will take LSU on this one. We won't get as many sacks as TxAM, but we will hurry him a lot.

you have auburn way undervalued. yea, they struggled like hell early on but they have some very talented athletes and they very well may have jelled against LSU. at least their defense. yea, their offense will cost them some close games this year against teams with stout defenses, like LSU.

when Driskel is not dinking and dunking on 3 step passes he will be rolling out testing our man to man deep. I figure the QB that makes the fewest mistakes in this one wins, both QBs will get rattled.

Driskel legitimately worries me. He isn't surrounded by the kind of talent Tebow was, but he's a much better pocket passer. I'm glad we're so fast on the edges because flushing him out of the pocket won't mean a TFL.

Pump the frickin brakes man. Driskel is a damn good QB. His recievers on the other hand (outside of Reed) are OK at best.
