Sage Ryan is at Ole Miss
I looked it up, and we gave up something like 10 runs of 50+ yds last season. It wasn't just South Carolina with Lenoris Sellars and Rocket Sanders; Nicholls fricking State had a 67 yd run.
You can say the problem's fixed by getting rid of Ryan if you want. My concern is that you had 10 other guys out there, multiple games, and there was no adjustment to prevent huge plays. Where are the linebackers, the other safety, the corners etc? I'm worried it was a scheme issue.

Alt26 has it characterized properly, IMO.
I was NOT expecting a NC in 2019 nor do I expect one in 2025.
Note: concerning 2019. It turns out that Texas was an average team in 2019. If Clemson 2025 turns out to be average, LSU will probably win the game Saturday.
