How do you feel about your chances of getting BCSCG Tickets?

All season I've been thinking my priority points would be high enough to get BCSCG tickets, but now I'm a little worried. In 2007 the cut-off was 3145 and anyone over that was in a lottery. I was at 3281 and didn't get tickets originally, but did get a call later after TAF had gotten additional tickets. I am currently ranked around 3750, but expect to move up as I'm still waiting on some tradition fund payments to post.

So my questions are:
1. How many tickets were in the lottery portion in 2007?
2. Are they going to do a lottery again this year? I don't think they do the lottery anymore for away games like they were doing back then.

Forgot to put in question 3:
How much has the dome's capacity expanded since 2007?

This will be the first major event since the renovations. Has the new seating configuration eliminated any of the space used for temporary seating?

2007 ticket distribution.

I don't remember the priority pointbreakdown, but I imagine it will be somewhat similar to the Oregon game. About 60k ticket requests in 2007.

Probably just 2. Here's the chart from 2007:

2008 National Championship Game tickets were distributed in the following manner:
LSU Priority Point Rank (as of 10.31.07)Maximum Number of Tickets Awarded
1-100: 8
101-250: 6
251-750: 4
751-3145: 2
Lottery - 3146 & above 2

LSUAfro, Where is that posted? That adds up to 16,000 tickets. How many did we get in 2007?

I believe it's actually been reduced technically. It increased for saints games but I think due to the renovations they can't bring in the extra bleachers like they used to for bowl games.

Anyone else have more knowledge on this?

It was from a thread from 2007.

LSU/Ohio St were allotted 16,000 each.

Would be nice if they also limited it to the number of season tickets you have. So if you are ranked 500 but only have 2 season tickets your max would be 2, not 4.

f the demand for tickets exceeds the supply available to LSU for any particular game, a distribution system utilizing the LSU Philanthropic Priority Point System will be used to determine ticket distribution

Just read this on LSUtix.net. I feel a hell of a lot better now. My Philanthropic ranking is under 2,000.

As a reminder, the Philanthropic ranking does not include donations to the tradition fund in the calculation. So if your only contributions to the point system are through ticket tradition fund, you may get screwed out of tickets.
