How do we match up against UNC?

Pretty even. We have better starting pitching if chalk holds with Holman. They have a more consistent lineup but don’t play our schedule. They are playing at home so it’s a toss up. We are gonna have have to hit better today.

If we can jump on them early and Holman can get in a rhythm we got this. Jay hasn’t been afraid to let Holman throw 110-115 pitches. Holman gets in a groove he can easily pitch for 7 or 8 innings. If we have the lead going into the 7th or 8th tonight you bring in Herring and burn him. This is a must win.

Yup, both teams didn’t play their best yesterday and will look to rebound.

If we play like we did in the back half, we stack up well. If we play like we did at the front half, or yesterday, we dont.
We must get some kind of production or at least decent at bats out of Pearson and Trav. We go as they go in this regional.

ACC Baseball Stats
It looks like UNC has a really strong pitching staff. Their hitting is middle of the pack. You would think with Holman pitching it will be a low scoring game, with that said we will probably have a shootout, lol.
