He looked like a very talented freshman, he will probably be a very good DB but he had some growing pains in the game Saturday. He played pretty well but it was a clear drop off between him and Fulton.

I saw him get burned immediately after replacing Fulton for a play. Is that what you mean?

Saw it too. Mullen dialed in that throw against Ward immediately.

Let’s just say we are very lucky Mullen can be a clown sometimes... the last time Fulton got hurt and Ward had to come in, He was matched up by himself on one end of the field with every other receiver on the other side. I told everyone around me they would throw at him that play and when it was snapped the Florida receiver shook him so bad he almost fell down. Luckily the Florida coaches didn’t let a Trask know because he threw it to the other side for an incomplete pass I think. Would have been a touchdown more than likely otherwise. I think he will be good in the future but he definitely acts like a freshman right now and you can’t blame him for that. We did get lucky though.

He plays really well around the line of scrimmage. I didn't notice him n coverage, but the kid, as skinny as he is, was not afraid to make a tackle. Get got his nose in there.

Believe he was the one who pressured Perine on that end around fake run/pass play on our goal line stop.

Needs to beef up and get a spring practice under his belt, he will be fine. I like Flott much better as of now.

He stepped up and did his job in a very big game.

No doubt he made some mistakes, but Fla scored only 6 points in the second-half... So ward settled in well, IMO.
