don't forget 2014 either. We play in the SEC. 4-4 in conference play. We finished in the middle of the pack in the SEC. Who cares what we did in comparison to other crappy teams in crappy conferences. Apparently that is good enough for you and you are satisfied with it.
You are the dumbest poster on here.

Ok. A chance at 9 wins and finishing in the top 20 out 126 teams ISNT MEDIOCRE.

I hope this was in jest.did you realy just say what we ranked nationally doesnt matter?

Good enough? No. I want lsu to win the west every year. I also realize you cant tout how strong the sec west and sec is then get pissed when we dont win the sec west every year.especially during a year where we start the 2nd mpst true freshman in conf. I understand how hard the sec west is. Even the best coach ( saban) with the best talent (#1 recruiting class 5/7 years) still loses EVERY SINGLE YEAR. I realize how hard the west is and how young we are and while losing 4 games is alot, finishing in the top 20 while playjng a huge amount of true freshmen isnt some huge underachieving seasons.

Ill use a few examples of you being a rantard when it come to football knowledge.
1. Lsu runs the same offense as Vince Lombardi's 1960 Packers.
2. Their is no such formation as an offset i formation.
3. We should recruit dual threat qbs and implement the west coast offense with them.
4. You said getting a team up to play an opponent is being a game day coach when its being a Motivator.
5. You said Miles isnt a great recruiter. .
These are things youve said in the span of 24 hours. The difference between my argument and your arguments , is i use facts to back my statements and you use regurgitated myths that you read on the rant.
Merry Xmas and Geaux tigers

How would you feel if LSU only won the SEC West once in a seven year stretch? Is that enough for you?

So 2006 was a failure in your book?
Posted on 12/25/14 at 11:24 am to JaxTiger10
Young team that didn't believe in itself early in the year. Lost to two top ten teams in the first month of the season.
We gained momentum down the stretch.

So your criteria for an NFL QB is Y.A.?

The spirit of the post was that the 2001 team was loaded with "NFL talent." Rohan made an NFL roster, but he wasn't good enough to play. Therefore, it is pretty hard to make the case that Rohan had "NFL talent."
He was a great college QB, no doubt.

Just sayin'... Flynn holds a clipboard, JR was out in 3 years, jury's still out on Mett. Wondering what the criteria is.

All three of those guys not only played in the NFL but started. That's something Rohan never did. He couldn't even beat out Doug Flutie and Matt Cassell for the third spot on the Patriots roster. He was released again by the Cardinals after a single season as the third string backup to Warner and John Navarre.
You are being obtuse, in my opinion, chilge.

Yes he was. Being back up for multiple years proves youre an NFL qb.
Bradie James didnt play on the 2003 championship team.

Flynn was beat out by Terrelle PRYOR for gods sake.flynn has been beaten out of a rookie in Seattle. In no world was Matt Flynn a better qb than rohan davey.

He backed up Tom Brady.

Mett was third string behind Locker and Whitehurst. Flynn was third-string behind Rodgers and Tolzien.
Injuries happen in the NFL. At no time has Flynn been a No.1 QB. Got beat out by EJ Manuel....

Not while he was at lsu. Its pretty laughable. Miles loses 3 games and he gets blasted. Saban loses 3 games every year but once and lsu is a top 5 program. Such hypocrisy.
Saban didnt build lsu. He walked into a team loaded with nfl talen.
Show the Rant where Saban touched you.
It was right in your 4 in a row spot.

Gained momentum like losing to an unranked ole miss team by double digits, in THE LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER?

So because ive stated facts about Saban's tenure at lsu, he molested me?i will always be thankful to saban for him making the AD spend money to improve lsu facilities.

This proves you arent an LSU fan.
What does this have to do with saban walking into a program stocked full of nfl talent and losing at least 3 games 4 out of 5 years?
Again,
Saban loses 4 games (2000),3 games(2001),5 games(2002),1 game (2003),3 losses (2004) and those records= top 5 program and demi god status
MILES give lsu its best 10 years stretch in the history of the program= held back by coaching and moron status.

It's simply amazing to me how much credit Nick Saban gets for, essentially, not having Lou Tepper on his defensive staff. If the administration had allowed DiNardo to keep Carl Reese, DiNardo never gets fired, Saban never gets hired, and we don't have to wait until 2003 for our first NC.
