I get that there are unusual circumstances at play, and Wade didn't coach the last game of the year, but how can he not be the SEC coach of the year? If it is later found out that he was in violations of rules, it could be stripped, but this is a travesty.

Cause other coaches come up with their own basis for how they vote for a coach.

Even before this latest controversy he wasn’t in the running for national coach of the year and was third or fourth in discussions of SEC coach of year.

Every game where it was discussed the announcers would say Kermit and Barnes were the favorite. Often they would add Calipari and then Wade

The guy took a team that couldn't make the NIT tourney, and in two years, they win the SEC championship outright. How is this not deserving of coach of the year honors?

Right now, he is not a coach which is probably a criteria for winning the award

He's a suspended coach, and he coached all year. I'm surprised by how many LSU fans are content to roll over and play dead.
Lots of bootlickers.

It’s probably a conspiracy. No way it’s possible that voters considered the wiretap.

In fact, on second thought? It MUST be a conspiracy.
