And there it is. Douchebag LNCHBOX who feels the need to personally attack people who disagree with him by claiming they're dumb
Well, you tried to call me out for speculating and no links, then laughed when I posted links backing up my claims.

You are so smart! Man, we should all stop discussing LSU and listen to just your genius opinion.
Sorry for making you look dumb.

I wish I could buy you for what you're worth and sell you for what you think you're worth.
You sure are angry I backed my claims up.

I just did.
I mean, I read it on the internet, it must be true! And Miles said it! We did indeed have the best OL ever when Miles said it, even if they did under perform.
BRB. I'm imagining that everything Miles has said is true!

More true than anything you have.

I know you think you're making a point, but you're not.

The dude supplants the incumbent starter after 2 drives in the 1st game he was healthy. good lord, this thread is horrible.

Except for of course, you know, ummmmm, statements from unaffiliated third parties not fed media soundbites, and, ummm, you know, actual performance, which would lend credence to such statements. So much so, that Harris was benched, which you even admitted in this thread was the correct thing to do.
So tell me again how your argument is more true than mine.
Come on back to reality, son. Fairy tale land is cute when you're a kid, but you need to grow some balls.

Well, you tried to call me out

I'm guessing it's because you can't read particularly well.

Uh...newsflash...when you start making personal attacks on people, they're going to retaliate bubba. But I do know that this is how you operate, from previous discussions. Like I said, I wish I could buy you for what you worth and sell you for what you think you're worth.

You need a name that doesn't have reality in it.
Posted on 9/19/16 at 9:48 am to LNCHBOX
Oh that's great. Let's attack each other's screen names now.
Here watch me, I can do the same thing. Your name needs to be TOOLBOX.

The funny thing is, I'm really not. But I can probably pull up your post history and see reply after reply of where you are locking horns with another poster. I don't think I've ever read a lighthearted innocent reply from you on this site. Ever. So it is extremely ironic that you would accuse me of being mad. By the way, that tactic is both overly played out and juvenile as an answer to somebody in a discussion. Whatever, I'll let you get the last word in. You bore me.

Then you haven't looked very hard.

But you are.
These novels you keep writing in response to me backing up my claims is proof.

Sure you will.

He did, considering he replaced the incumbent 5 quarters into the season. Possibly should have started the year, but I'm sure the staff was hoping Harris was improved with experience.

Atltiger:
Thanks for agreeing with most of my post.
I'm well aware that there are incompetents in every profession. I've dealt with it my whole career and I'm past most people's retirement age. Most, especially coaches, eventually get fired.
I don't reflexively believe the LSU coaches are excellent. I'm well aware that LSU's coaches, JUST LIKE ALL OTHERS, can and do make mistakes, and I am well aware of how frustrating that can be. I'm not a graduate but am a Louisiana resident and fan. After the Clemson loss three bowls ago, I swore I would never watch another LSU game, but I keep getting sucked back in.
I don't reflexively believe that all fans are morons. I never played football, so there are obviously fans on this board who know far more about it than I. People write about things they see in games that I could never see unless I had slow-mo and a lot of experience watching game film. Hell, I can't even always tell who's playing where, so I don't have any idea whether, for example, it was Gilmore or Valentine who won or got beat. Sometimes I can see a number after a play and figure it out.
The problems I have that I was attempting to address are the definite, absolute morons - self-anointed geniuses - who reflexively believe that the coaches are stupid and start flaming about it just because they disagree with some decisions. Why not think for a few seconds to see if maybe, just maybe, there might be reasonable explanations for those decisions? They might still have turned out wrong and there might be plenty of reasons to disagree, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were unreasonable and the coaches are stupid. Hindsight is 20/20.
"I'M INFALLIABLY RIGHT SO EVERYONE ELSE IS AN IDIOT" is a rather piss-poor and stupid way to go through life.

You guys are acting like Etling is going to take us to the promise land he's very average. Let's see how he does @ auburn
Posted on 9/19/16 at 11:46 am to Hamma1122
Danny Etling can be Matt Flynn. He can be Matt Mauck. He can be Greg McElroy. He can be Chris Leak. He can be Tee Martin. He can be a different, but as talented player as Darron Thomas He's probably already better than Jarrett Lee. Not every elite team has to have a Vince Young or a Jameis Winston or a Marcus Mariota.
If he can go between 180-270 yards, 1-2 TD's, 60% completion rate, a couple of key 3rd down scrambles, and no bad turnovers consistently then we're a national title contender. And of course there's a long way to go, but all signs right now point to

All we need is average from the QB position.

But last week it was "Let's see how he does against MSU."

Easy to say in hindsight. The game was not out of reach. No coach makes that change in the first game of the year with a returning starter. None
How long do you think Spurrier would've put up with Brandon Harris?
That's what I thought.
BH would've been riding the bench for Wisconsin.

You have an example of any coach pulling their starting QB in the first half of their first game?

MSU was schit and you know it....still took us to the wire....none of which was DE's fault.

Because Les Miles is not only eating grass. He may be smoking it with some of the players.
