Yea. He went 12-0 the next year and was #1 for a good part of the season. I don't see Miles doing this.
You mean 12-2. End with by the most humiliating Bowl Loss in the nation..
Miles went 12-2 Won the SEC Championship & the National Championship.

But will Miles [ YOUR HERO} go 12-0??? Don't think so!!!!
He's not my hero but I'm pulling for him to succeed more than the coach at Bama. I can't say the same for you.
That 12-0 season has no title to go with it. A loss to a fricking Mountain West team? What a joke.

Let's see Saban do it with McElroy at QB and no Andre Smith.

No. The Gerry DiNardo revisionist history is spot fricking on.

So am I!!! I hope he wins an NC every year he is here.

You're right. I'll rephrase: the part about him wanting the Miles regime to succeed is absolute crap.

You can't make some of the other posts you've made and expect anyone to belive this one. You're on Saban's side more than Miles'. That's fine, just don't hide it.

I agree. Carlos isn't a Tiger fan, he's a Saban fan.

All I have ever said IMO Saban is the better coach. But no matter where he coaches, I want LSU to win. I never said I wasn't a Miles fan.

Don't see why they're mutually exclusive. As a matter of fact, I would be euphoric if he retired from coaching tomorrow, for the good of the LSU program.

Correct. Saban could have been coaching that LSU team last year and he'd be perfectly content with the results.

That's why you want to see him succeed at Bama, so it'll back up your opinion.

But, you know you'd rather have Saban back stalking the sidelines regardless of the results.

Wrong. And I was extremely critical of Saban in 2004, regarding his management of the Randall/Russell situation. My problem with last year's team was not the record, because it happens, but the effort and attitude of the team, and I feel that's something the coaching staff should have instilled in the team. The team just decided to phone it in during several of the losses, and by the end of the year had quit on the staff. I am not sure why you can't see that this was problematic, and if you were watching the Ole Miss game you'd know what I was talking about. I hope Miles' new coaches can bring some new attitude changes to the team. Perhaps what the players needed was some fresh faces on the sideline. We will see.

BS!
You were pulling for BAMA to beat LSU in 2008 PJ.

Wrong.
I'm fairly aware of your opinion of Saban. You're a believer. You've been posting here long enough.

What I say isn't entirely about your criticism of last year's team.

I'm not sure why you'd say that. I don't necessarily disagree with you. Like I said, my comments are about what you've posted your entire time here.

Because you said the "rest of my post was absolute crap", which I assumed meant that you disagreed with the assertions I made, backed up by facts and examples.

You said 8-5 was not acceptable for a coach making big money yet Saban went 7-6 last year making more money and losing to teams he had no business losing to. Period.
What does Saban going 12-0 last year have to do with anything. That only shows how bad of a job he did the year before to go 7-6 with mostly the same players. Not to mention his team didn't finish when it counted. The LSU 2007 team that you think was in decline actually won two championship games. That is why you play the season...to win championships, not games. I guess you think what Saban accomplished in 2008 is better than what Miles accomplished in 2007. No one that has ever played or coached the game would agree with you but you are blinded by your hard-on for Saban.

And I made a post on this page basically saying the part(s) about you supporting Miles is absolute crap. Really, you've never made a post where it was clear you were on his side. The ones in this thread where you were challenged on your support are pretty easy to see through. Most of your posts regarding Miles were critical. You've never been a fan, and you basically said you prefer Saban's "style" over Miles'. It's all about "style" instead of results.
