Like I said before, Its fine to not think we will win the opener but poeple like you and super saint are acting like giant bitches before a single game has been played. You don't get to litter the board with negative bullsit in the preseason and then join the party when you're proven wrong.

I realize they have 3 solid WR but a lot of them are saying our WRs are a wash... 
could be our deepest WR corps ever
Also.. aren't they breaking in a new set of RB?
Also dont they have a new DC? He's just gonna implement his scheme flawlessly?

well. They know we have a coach that is never prepared for the opener, but talks as if he has won something. They have a proven winner that keeps his thoughts to himself.

sorry baw, those are just participation awards in this days game, Kelly is always on the outside looking in at real champions, not saying he won't eventually get there but his clock is definitely ticking

Do you realize that by this measure there are only 3 good coaches in college football? Only Kirby Smart, Ryan Day, and Dabo are currently active NC winners.
I agree that the ultimate measure of suuccess at LSU is winning a NC but people acting like every coach that hasn't won one sucks are idiots.

Not only this, they moved an underperforming WR to RB and they think he will be incredible despite being a Senior with few stats. The second option is a highly recruited FR.

This. They think that our new players will need time to mesh but their new system will be implented flawlessly.

didn't quite say that but he's in his twilight years of coaching and has yet to reach the promised land, now he's got every conceivable resource at his disposal, almost no rules to abide by anymore, and he's been a little underwhelming at LSU so far, believe me, I'm hoping he pushes through to the next level

I wasn't directing that solely at you but I think these 2 points are related. He got here and all the rules that he had built his system around went away. He has been a bit underwhelming but I think its because he had to figure out how to navigate this new era of college football. Based on the roster alone, this is the first year where he really has it figured out. Now if we go 9-3 again and miss the playoffs, I will be very critical of him. THIS is a playoff roster, its time for him to prove he belongs in this league.

true, and he does seem to be getting a pretty good handle on that, I think a couple of things that infuriate people is his attitude and demeanor(for better or worse,) and sticking with terrible, underperforming coaches, we absolutely blew an almost certain opportunity for another NC with Daniels because we couldn't put eleven guys with a pulse on the field as a defense, and Kelly refused to make any changes and stuck with his friend as if he were trying to help him make his pension or something, and I still don't think anyone has reminded him that special teams are part of the game

Patrick Payton is going to slam Kublick. Cade, remembers him well from last year . Patrick was the only guy making plays in that loss to clemson. He even blocked a FG try

The more I think about it the more I worry about the one part that has had NOTHING to do with NIL and transfers and thats figuring out the best 22 players going into game 1. Half our starters have been different players by week 4 every season under BK. He REALLY needs to figure out his best lineups right out of the gate this year.
We can't have a starting OL of Adams, Chester, Moore, Thompson, and Davis in game 1 and then figure out our best group is actually Adams, Mbenga, Moore, Echols and Thompson by week 4. They need to figure it out in camp and hit the ground running.

I think he's saying BK sucks and he hasn't had a team ready to play an opener yet since becoming our HC. Only one of the losses was to a good team: the FSU team in '23 that overwhlemed us in the 2nd half. Also, the 3 previous games were played at neutral sites. We shall see...

Doesn't mean I'm a bad fan.
LSU has the talent to make the playoffs and should. Just like they did in 2023 and 2024, but they didn't make it due to coaching.

You are absolutely right and this is a huge part of why he can't win an opener.
Again, nothing wrong with pointing out the flaws.
What bothers me is he talks as if he has all this figured out, then when he doesn't, he throws a fake bitch fit.

did you bother to even look at the players from other teams and who they represent? the ACC is a tremendous joke now that Florida State is dog shite. There isn't a single other program that would finish in the top 8 or 9 of the SEC. Of course Clemson has a lot as they should considering the conference.
