Their defense is good against the run, but their secondary seems pretty bad. Is Joe Burrow about to light them up?

I hope so, but then again I thought Burrow was going to light up Arky...

Not if he does not get protection. Against good defensive fronts we have not done very well.Bama.Florida. Losses. If E does not dial up some roll outs. JB will have to run in this game to keep there defense on there heals and we have to run for 100+ to have any chance. This game comes down to E play calling against Jimbos play calling.. Aranda will do his job. But we have to score points to win. I do not see E out coaching Jimbo.

Nick Fitzgerald passed on them. That tells me a little bit about their secondary.

E has dialed up stuff like this and Burrow isn’t fast enough to avoid getting smashed by free runners

it could be exposed if lsu's receivers catch the ball and burrow isn't getting buried.

I think the drops are something that we can overcome. The offensive line getting owned is not.

You add the drops, Joe not being great under pressure, and A&M's run defense, and this is a tough matchup for us.

All depends on our Tackles slowing the pass rush

If the pass protection can SOMEWHAT hold up, Burrow should be able to carve them up easily.

Statically, their pass defense is just as bad as Arkansas and Ole Miss. #13 in conference between OM and Ark

On the flip side, they are better than both at rushing the passer.
A&M better than Ark and OM in sacks

The game will go as our OL goes. I do not expect to run the ball really at all against them. Brossette and CEH will probably combine for maybe 100-ish yards at 3.5-4 yards per carry.

Best not overlook their game vs Clemson.

Pass defense ranks in triple digits but watch Ensminger try to force the run down their throats

A&M has a decent pass push, but their pass defense is terrible. They allow 8.7 yards/attempt, worst in the conference. They don't just give up a ton of yards, they let up a ton of yards on each attempt.

Given their run defense, Burrow is gonna throw the ball a lot.

LSU runs the ball 57% of the time. I'd say they're pretty balanced, but I guess that doesn't fit your cute little narrative.
