A loss would not help their RPI whatsoever and would help us tremendously

Miami WON 10-3 over Virginia
Stanford is WINNING over Arizona State 3-2 in the 4th
West Virginia WON 5-1 over Texas Tech

I’m no expert when it comes to seeding but UCSB losing would pretty much make them a 2 seed because of lack of competition

am I just reading it wrong or does the Big West not have a conference tournament?
it looks like they have a regular conference series... UCSB needs to win 1 to secure the conference title outright

If they win the series and the committee wants them to host, the numbers will still support hosting.
