We’ve consistently been one of the best teams in college baseball.. being ranked number one multiple weeks, including the last week of the season being ranked first by EVERY SINGLE ranking site. Every one. Going on the road and winning a series is going to discount our ranking??? Nahhhhh
Plus having a regional / super regional in Baton Rouge benefits viewership and ticket sales etc.
Plus we ain’t losing the first game with our cold blooded killer Anderson on the bump. Stop reading douche babe sites that are trying to get clicks

People here don’t realize there this is some threat of a team ranked in 8-12 area winning their conference tourney. There is a threat of our RPI dropping. Everyone wants the #8 seed LSU fans think they automatically get it if they’re close.
As it stands now we are in, but if we lose and everyone behind us wins multiple games it will be tight.

Is this question based on a few low IQ writers at an independent college baseball media shop including LSU in a list of 4 “very even” teams after Texas, putting LSU last in that group (in the process saying “is this where you want to slide in UNC just to break things up?”). Then moving on to discuss UGA and Auburn and in the matter of 5 seconds one of them says “why not move LSU to 7?” A few yups later and that’s where it ended.
