that is the way I saw it also...Joe , from a sitting position, and with Days against his back, kicked backward as hard as he could, causing Days to have to dive over Joe, forward....Days landed in Joe's lap then fell to the floor awkwardly.....also ARK#2 tried to do the same thing to Mayes from a fall position pushing back under.....
Yep that was on purpose I was irate and wanted wade to pull a bench player and hack the ever living shite out of him with open hand and break his nose lol

Johnny Jones barely played that year.
He played 13 minutes a game. And Black started 6 games that year. Did you follow the team closely in those days? Jones, Black and Tudor were some very talented ball players. They were all young- Jones and Tudor were freshmen and Black a soph- but those guys were contributors. Don’t just go by points avg. They gave minutes and gave guys rest.

Dude jones black and Tudor barely played. Did u bump your head? Jones and black scored 3 points per game. Tudor didn’t even score that. You’re reaching that team played 7 guys.

The starting 5 in 1981 logged over 30 minutes a game per player. Johnny did get 12-13 minutes and 3 points per game.
The 8-9-10 guy were mop up guys.

You are confusing “rotation” with “available players.”
Sure, a 7 or 8 player rotation is perfectly fine, as long as you have some extra players for injury or foul situations.
LSU only has 8 players AVAILABLE.
On Saturday in overtime, LSU had 5 players on the court with no scholarship players available on the bench. Reid had 4 fouls.
A deep team is NEVER 1 foul away from being forced to play a walk-on.

Jones played 13 minutes a game. Sims played 18 and he was maybe the best 6th man in the nation. Again, did you watch that team. It was our deepest most talented team ever.

The LSU final four team (2006) literally played 7 guys.
Y’all are confusing bodies with talented depth. In college basketball if you have 8 guys that can get it with no drop off you have a strong chance to be extremely good.

Jones played 12-13 minutes a game. Scored 3 points per game. Big time player that year I tell you. Cmon man. Below average player.

Willie Sims, Johnny Jones, Tyrone Black and John Tudor were all talented talented players. No scrubs there. That team was “extremely” good. Final 4 good.

From a talent stand point the Chris Jackson Shaq squad was way more talented. They just couldn’t put it all together.
Stranley Roberts
Shaq
vernell
Chris Jackson
Maurice Williamson.
Insane talent.

Black, Tudor, and Jones rarely showed up in the box score that year lol.
The starting 5 on that team logged nearly alll the minutes.

None of this is relevant to our current depth problems.

Yes. Great top end talent. Should have gone much further. Some great talent that year we ran up against in the dance.

Just giving u the facts.
We have 8 guys that can flat out go this year. We’re going to be fine.
Last year we had 6 guys that were worth a damn.

You are confusing bodies with talent.
We were one foul away from playing walk ons in overtime on Saturday. That’s not deep.

I don’t know about deepest but imho definitely the best!

exactly;
That team was not deep. Those 7-8-9 players scorred 3, 3, and 2 points per game lol.
The good news is Days just has a bone bruise. He's fine.
We have an 8 man rotation that is good as any in the SEC.
We just have to cut down on the turnovers.
