Let's say that LSU does not make it to the SECCG, with Bama making it from the West.
Bama wins, and goes to the BCSCG against whoever...
1) Will you root for Bama?
2) Will you be happy for Nick if Bama were to win the game?

ABSOLUTELY...very dumb honest question. How can you not root for the SEC in a game like that??? I do so I don't have to here the fricking media choke on USC's balls all offseason. that's like last year when Michigan beat UF, all my friends were so happy to see that. I WAS EMBARRASED FOR THE SEC

I'd root for Bama in an ordinary bowl game.
But not in the BCS Championship Game.
Unless - it were against Texas or Southern California.

1. Highly doubtful MAYBE if they play USC, but not sure.

Probably not. I always root for the SEC, but I do have exceptions. I remember cheering for Miami and against Florida in the Sugar Bowl because I hated Spurrier so much.

I will NEVER root for a school against whom LSU recruits.
Why would I want a team that a prize recruit is looking at in addition to LSU to do well?
In reality, what direct good does another team's success (particularly one in the SEC) do for LSU?
Please don't say anything about respect foe the conference. If the SEC hasn't earned it by now, it never will.
