Don’t care that much about some 18 year old kid’s decision to play close to home.

LSU was trying to schedule a game vs Maryland in the Redskins' Stadium and another in the Dome a couple years ago.

Very bad optics for future recruits to have our fanbase look so damn stupid over a kids decision to stay close to home.
He could have handled it more maturely yes, but he is still just a kid.

You do realize with how far we out these things are scheduled both players would be long gone before it would happen? You do realize that right?

Nah, just make sure LSU players let him know via social media to reach out to us once he comes to his senses.
After 3-5 games at Maryland
, he’ll recognize his mistake.
Just have to make sure we do all we can to accommodate him if/when he decides to transfer.
He’ll catch more balls in 2 years at LSU than 4 at Maryland, and his NFL prospects are infinitely better at LSU.
Kids make bad decisions all the time. I just hope we have a spot for him when the inevitable day arrives.
