Once selected late like this and you sign , you give up the opportunity for big bucks next year. He should come back. The difference in nil money and signing for late round money is not much.

It's not that difficult to read up, learn, and observe how the MLB draft process works, especially if you're an LSU baseball fan. Educate yourself before making nonsense posts like this. It's not rocket science.

first of all,how is the 3rd round late in a 20 round draft. second, is he comes back to school and gets drafted even higher than he got drafted tonight ,teams will pay him under slot because they know that he has to take whatever they offer.
third ,he got drafted in a draft slot around 900k and they will probably pay over slot to keep him from returning to school.
fourth, we dont pay any of our guys more than 500k in nil and the only reason we paid that much was trying to get Jones to return .

youre completely wrong with everything you posted.

go back and look at where Gavin dugas was drafted, look at that slot value, then look at what they actually paid him ,because he had to take it .
dude got like 20 thousand to sign ,thats it. thats because he was a senior. the mlb doesn't care about what they feel is right, they are cutthroat with this shite.
