A game that we have a month to prepare for?
Every team that we have played against, we have had more talent.
Every year teams with less talent beat teams with more.
Just look at USC-Washington last night, or maybe Utah-Alabama last year, or....I could go on and on.
My point is that I disagree with the point that LSU has gotten worse every year under Miles except '06.
But I guess Miles can not get credit for winning games he is supposed to win.

SFP, seems like we think the same on every topic.
Some people are in denial, and do not want to believe what they see on the field.
They are forced to believe that we are conservative for greater competition.
I mean come on people, there is no intensity on the sidelines from any coaches. SEE SARK AND HOLT? Maybe if we award Chavis a dozen donuts for a sack, we may be in business.
Did we get more than a sack against ULL? ULL? ULL? Freaking ULL?
But no, the positigers believe that Chavis is saving his schemes for greater competition, but yet after every team we play, they believe they are a bowl team.

I mean if we played Bo Pelini and the huskers, we would probably lose also. The dude knows what to hell to expect from Miles.Like Sark and Holt knew against USC.
Hmmmm...

He needs to play more and more each game trying different things. Everyone knows he can throw. We won't be suprising any team. Now we shouldnt expose any trick plays yet! Take the leash off of him already! He seems more composed than lee and jj??

Your right, I wouldn't want Northwestern State either. Peveto would have our number.

We should play him out the backfield, slot and wildcat

I wouldn't be shocked. I bet our offense would make his defense look incredible also.

I remember the play you're talking about EasyE. We had run RP on Stretch keep several times in previous games (or maybe it was just one game) then vs. Va. Tech. we run stretch pass with him for a TD. It was set up nicely in previous weeks. That season I felt like Crowton did an excellent job of building a body of tendencies vs. the crappy teams only to later exploit the tendencies he had created vs. good teams.
Do I always see him do this? no, but he did a hell of a job of it then.
Scouting an opponent is very tendency driven. What do they do with this personnel, what do they do on 2nd and medium, etc. computer programs are designed to chart tendencies of opponents (with a bunch of labelling work done by GAs). Self scouting takes place as well (what are our tendencies). So that we might purposefully create tendencies and then exploit is perfectly reasonable.
I've only gotten to watch the Washington game so far this year so I can't say whether or not we are creating tendencies to exploit them this year.
