All of the analyst were raving over his speed and burst out of his breaks. It didn't show him drop a pass either. Daryl Clark was discusted when he realized he had to throw the deep ball to Holliday. He chunked it and Holliday had to wait on it. Holliday also caught it cleanly.

I have asked this question before, but how come we NEVER threw him a deep route at LSU. At least it would have stretched the safeties and opened up the middle of the field.

Crowton needs

Good luck to Trindon

He's small so he's easy to knock off his route at the line and any DB close to him down the field would have a significant advantage getting to a ball in the air.

I think they did once against Arkansas, but they didn't do it consistently

Wow. Some of you do live in a fantasy land. Some of what you say could theoretically be true or happen. Most is BS. Holiday would be used in the slot and create major mismatches if used correctly.

Holiday could be a niche player. His elite speed should have been used to create mismatches in college and it never was.

Hope TH has a much better chance in the NFL than he did in college.

Everyone is fast in the NFL and at wide out, he would not be able to get off press coverage and his height would really hurt him as well.

Produce a list of NFLers with sub 4.4 speed. will not take you long.

dude is not 150, and you underestimate Hollidays strength as proved in his 225 reps.

but my point was in reference to what other people said about using him at LSU to stretch the field, something Green who is comparable in size was good at doing for LSU, oh well, it's too late now.

List slot rec. In the NFL that are 5'5. That shouldn't take you long either.

The most important factor that people are forgetting is he doesn't catch the ball well.

Height isn't a prerequisite for a slot receiver.

Since you folks are obviously ignorant, let me educate. A slot receiver runs underneath, catches the football and gets the majority of his yards after the catch.

Again, Height has not a damn thing to do with succeeding in the slot.

That's nice but the OP's question was why LSU never sent Trindon deep?

Then please explain why TH won't be a first 3 round pick? He's obviously the fastest guy in the combine and according to you, size doesn't mean anything.

What proof do you have that he doesn't catch the ball well. 3-4 passes to him in his career. He caught it better than lafell at the combine.

once again, comparable size,(Green was actually 5'8") not exact size. and the point once again is that he could have been used like Green to strecth the field.
