When Zac Taylor is inevitably fired the Bengals should hire Joe Brady as their next head coach.

Was it Joe Brady or Joe Burrow?

If he does well at Carolina I wouldnt Be surprised if he is Joe’s coach within 2-3 years

Taylor got hired because everyone wanted someone who had a cup of coffee with McVey.

If he fails they will do whatever they can to make Burrow comfortable.

Both, we know Burrow can play but there’s no way he puts up the numbers he did last year without Brady. The NFL is trending towards guys like him and his pedigree as an understudy is outstanding as well as his one year transformation of LSUs offense. If Zac Taylor is an NFL HC Brady is easily qualified. He begged Carolina to try and make moves to get Burrow so we know they wanna be together.

Burrow needs an offensive line and some receivers more than he needs his college *passing game coordinator*. I love what Brady did but if Joe had 1 more second in the pocket and receivers that could create separation the Bengals would win a lot of games.

The Bengals issues are largely personnel based. That offensive line is trash, and just not up to speed with what they're trying to do. No scheme in the world can cover up a weak offensive line in the NFL. The hope is that at least a few guys figure it out, then they can go get (draft or free agency) the other pieces to the offensive line puzzle. This line would look even worse with Brady, at this point.

Unpopular opinion: Cincy is best served establishing the run moving forward while the offensive line figures things out. Otherwise, Joe is going to get killed.

I agree with both you and stickly I’m just saying that Taylor is going to be fired and with the recent trends in coaching hires Brady seems like a great fit for Burrow and the Bengals. We know they’re not going to spend the money to hire a seasoned championship minted HC and pairing your young QB with an offensive HC that suits him seems to be the other route teams are going. But you guys are both right the Bengals personnel is atrocious.

That line can't block on runs.
