We've clawed back for another shot at the Beavers - athletes play "sore" all the time. The less sore guy goes tonight and the other tomorrow. You don't sit out because you're sore with the season on the line.

I think what they’re going through is a little more serious than Mainieri is letting on. I’m not saying they wouldn’t pitch if we were to advance to the Supers, but I’m sure there’s more to it than just being sore.
