Those were the days of a "normal" goal posts. I love the h style. Glad we went to it

Thank God LSU kicked your arse in the Cotton Bowl and at Kyle Field to even it up. Oh and 28-20-3 deal with it.

Quote:A watershed moment in my life. My parents were too cheap to get cable. My father (a UGA fan) walked in on me in my bedroom and caught me listening to WWL. I couldn't hide it. I was outed. It was at that moment he realized I was born like this, and that its not a "choice". We still talk, although, he doesn't agree with my lifestyle.

This was hilariously original in the way you worded it -LOL

In the 60s and early 70s, A&M opened the season at LSU each year. I think they would get 10,000 tickets in the lower south end zone and it was virtually all male cadets in solid khaki uniforms (with some scattered dates) I think it was an all male school then. They would come in tons of buses caravan style and paint the buses with stuff like "a little (sub for baby tiger/cat) never hurt anyone" The second game i ever remember being at in Tiger Stadium, LSU was up 18-13 with seconds left. A&M threw a 70 yd pass to win 20-18. LSU did not lose another game that year (1970 i think) and A&M did not win another game

Was that the game where the Aggie split his forehead open (Roper maybe?) and it spewed blood like a guyser?

I was 10 years old and remember that game, that hit, like it was yesterday.

5 pt loss that easily could have gone other way is an arse kicking?
McClenden didn't renew the series again either after losing 2 X at home in 75-76 either... See a pattern?
Why so pissed LSU 92?
It's a GREAT rivalry... Always have had a blast in BR.

It never rains...
That was '87 , it was Roper who split hus forgead after he sacked Hodson. (LSU won 17-3) played in CS for I think the 1st time ever maybe. A&m went 10-2 that year and stomped Notre Dame 35-10 in Cotton Bowl. Bucky Richardson started as a Frosh after game 3.

Good thing you got that garbage touch at the end to make it closer than it really was. Little Johnny was dominated. Come back for some more of the same this year Johnny.

28-20-3 is the pattern I see.

I know, I housed a bunch of freeloading Aggie fans for the 86 and 88 games at my apartment. I would have charged them rent, but I felt bad after LSU busted their arse. You should have seen the way those hogs ate the free popcorn and drank the keg beer.

Those Aggie hogs were actually my friends at the time. Nice people...
