Bright was great, but never really improved over the course of 4 years.

This. Plus Hickey is a better defender and better at creating his own shot. Plus the talent surrounding him is exponentially worse which is a big deal.

I think Bright would have been a better off guard. I don't think he was a true point but forced to play there because Brady never could seem to get a legit point guard here.
I think when all is said and done Hickey will prove to be the better player, but I alwasy liked Torris.
