He didn't improve one bit over the offseason, but that gold chain looked good around his neck.

Jordan Travis looked like he put in some work over the offseason.

Op hit the nail on the head. AN as such strong consideration should be give to when the JD experiment is over. We are not here to get him an NFL opportunity- that he must earn. BK is here to win a national championship- if not this year then next. That being said if another quarter back gets us there next year then we need to start investing in him now if he is on the team.

JD still cannot think fast enough in the pocket, telegraphs too many throwns and overthrew last night. Yes he made a good run- and a few good passes. I don't see enough improvement in him from last year. BK should have him on the shortest leash possible- if he continues this path- go to the bench. I am not pushing Nuss - should we have kept Howard?

I have never seen that in him and I dont know where you do other than you want to see it.

On the other hand I agree that his skillset is not making people around him better in the prime time games. He has been able to do it against lesser competition but in big games under pressure he reverts back to running JD.

As I said in an earlier post the difference in this game was Travis extended plays with his feet AND his arm. JD did not extend many plays with his arm. If the play broke down he took off. And honestly I think BK was upset with him again about that.

Bk upset enough to bench him for the start of the Next game and see how he reponds? I think JD is a good person also but I think he thinks he is better than he really is. I don't think he plays on Sundays - he is just a very good college player and not even a Tim Tebow - who also could not make it on Sunday play- I would take Tebow all day long on this team over JD-

JD also made really bad reads in the RPO calls leaving RBs with 3-4 yard losses

He made HORRIBLE reads in the redzone.

Wish JD would have left after last year. Now we are stuck with him. JJ 4.0

You are correct
Reminds me so much of Aaron Brooks with Saints back in the day and Jamarcus Russell
Mske makes mistakes or there is a bad play and they laugh it off
