15-0, national champions, greatest CFB team ever, won the Heisman, and every trophy known to man, and all behind a coach most didn’t even want.

I really hope the younger people today realize just how incredibly special this is and soak this up with a pile of biscuits, because this is bigger than anything LSU football has done, EVER, and few other teams will match it, with arguably none besting it.

This is that season some random kid in Louisiana lays in his bed at night, stares up at the ceiling and envisions LSU having the most epic of seasons ever, and then it actually happens.

Yep it was good.
Probably won’t see that happen again for a really long time.

Thought we'd be good, predicted 11-1 and CFP. But no one could have imagined this.

I was thinking the same thing. Man, did we just go 15-0 and win the whole damn thing. Unbelievable!

I’m still soaking it in and really nothing is going to bother me this offseason.

No team had a season like this one ever. Two teams came close - one Miami team and one Nebraska team, but neither beat 7 Top 10 teams in one season, won 15 games in one season, and scored as many points as this LSU team.

I'm still celebrating, and see no end in sight. This season has been one for the ages.

I would have been happy with 1-11, as long as the win was against Bama.

The rest is Lagniappe.

Agreed...
Usually by this time I’m stressed about coaching changes, jr.s declaring early, recruiting...this year, whatever man. That season will keep me relaxed for at least one off season

I catch myself driving in the car and someone mentions Heisman Winner Joe Burrow of the National Champion LSU Tigers and I have this second of surprise again.

Sort of wished I’d enjoyed it a little better earlier on.

Didn’t really realize till we put beat down on Alabama how good we really were.

Mike Greenberg said it best. "LSU just had the best season in CFB history, and it's not even up for debate. In addition to beating 7 Top 10 teams, they also beat the Preseason Top 4. And the group of Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson went 60-4 against teams not named LSU. SIXTY AND FOUR. Yet LSU beat all 5 of those teams by an average of 20 points."
9 of LSU's 12 regular season opponents had winning records. 8 went to bowl games.
LSU beat THREE Top 4 teams in a row to end the season: Georgia, Oklahoma, and Clemson. And beat each by an average of nearly 4 touchdowns.

This might be the craziest: SEVEN PASSING TOUCHDOWNS IN ONE HALF vs Oklahoma.

If we have adequate line play from both lines, I think we can at least win 9 or 10 games, if not more in 2020...
