Just curious if anyone has seen/heard his opinions this week of LSU’s post SECC ranking chances.

With Gameday in Atlanta, he will undoubtedly have some if/then opinions to express which could set the debate stage.

Why does his opinion matter to you, or the team?

He was interviewed on an SEC network show after the basketball game the other night.

He claimed LSU will be in the playoffs win or lose. And he claimed that “LSU fans should just sit back and enjoy the game on Saturday” because basically we have nothing to fear and that we’re in.

I think he's been pretty well balanced this season. He's been very complimentary towards us as the season has progressed.

Last night he did say something that I did have to question though. He said, "We're talking about the entire body of work."

So, if we're talking about that, explain to me how we're at #2 when we beat a Tua led Alabama team that was ranked #3, and an Auburn team that is now ranked 11, a Florida team that is now ranked #9 compared to a 13th ranked Michigan team that got run over by 29 points and dropped 1 spot. Cincinnati loses, again, drops 1 spot.

Wisconsin beats #8 and springboards all the way into the top 10 while Bama losing by 3, drops from 5 to 12.

None of that makes sense to me. I understand Bama has now lost twice, but Auburn beat the "team to beat (even without Tua)" they move up one spot?

We beat A&M by 43 and that's not mentioned at all. I guess it's because A&M wasn't ranked but at the same time, A&M held their own with Auburn and UGA and both teams narrowly beat them.

So if we're talking body of work, why the 1 spot drop when Michigan just got run over by 29 points? Is it still the defense because the defense I saw against A&M was swarming all night. They were everywhere. I don't know what else the committee wants to see.

I don't get that.

Says he doesn't know what the committee will do, but with a win vs UGA, he would move LSU to #1.
