Even if the sound system were upgraded and the tunes were different let's leave the piped-in stuff to places like Auburn and Gainesville. The whole idea of piped-in music is inherently bad.
For the one who suggested we boo if it's ever done again and cheer like crazy when TGBFTL is playing - wished I'd thought of that.

I'd like to see the Reveille write something about this during the week and get some student responses. We don't need piped music in TS. There's a reason we have the best college band in the country

IMHO, it's about feminizing the atmosphere so as to attract the broadest fan base...following the pro game lead to make the maximum gate...this process has queered the football game atmosphere and led to the lack of excitement in the stadium.

Not a fan of the piped in music... But I kinda like Zombie Nation.
At least the band is trying to mix things up!

I agree, non-tigerband music in tiger stadium should be banned. That shite is unacceptable.

I figured that Kevin Wagner must have found "Jock Jams" in his office before the game, and decided to give it a spin.
All we need now is Jordy Hultberg with a T-shirt cannon running around during timeouts.

Thinking outside the box here:
We need the students to think of non-clever profanities to yell in unison during the piped in music (i.e. "Thunderfrick" instead of "Thunderstruck"). That would get rid of it quickly.

Who cares if they played piped in music?
They played this when the stadium was 70% empty. The stadium was dead the entire game except for halftime when the troops came out.
Help to stop people from leaving early!
