Its been going on as long as I've been going to Buckeye games. It's apart of the atmosphere now.

They almost never play it so early that the actual song kicks in though. Just the "Dong!"'s

That reminds me. It's always some cheesy, overplayed generic bullshite like Hell's Bells or some other retarded flathead shite from Jock Rock.

Thanks, Bucknut.

This is one reason I GREATLY prefer college football over the NFL. It has a soul, and feels like A SPORTING EVENT, rather than the "rock concert" feel that the NFL tries to achieve like fricking morons.

I HATE piping in music over the speakers at any point during regulation!!!! I've always been glad that we didnt do it when I see it at the South Carolina and Kentuckys of the world. It gives the game an NFL feel that is totally NOT LSU football!! Tiger football is a tradition, and this is not part of it.

I agree. That shite has GOT TO STOP. fricking gay.

I am outraged at this. Who made the call to do this? Don't let ONE idiot ruin decades of tradition in Tiger Stadium.

Why not just get a pipe organ and start playing that gay-arse baseball-charge tune?

Who in the world thought this was a good idea???

so do we just have complete silence while the band is making their way down to the field to prepare for the halftime show? look i'm all about tradition, but i think this would be one of the few times that you could play music over the pa system.
