Pretty simple- we didn't have a QB after spring ball, then suddenly Burrow appears on the scene.

And remember, it wasn't just this site talking about him. It all started with ESPN and other national sites, saying "what if". Then, we land him.

His career stats are 29-37 287 yd. and 2 TD

I'm thinking people are basically projecting this to be 1 game, if we become more pass-oriented. And if he does that per game, we're good.

Just help me understand where you see the excitement opposed to Narcisse/McMillan/Brennan

In watching the limited film from Ohio State games I seen Burrows look one way at a wide receiver then check off and find another WR and deliver an accurate ball.

Burrow seems to have a calmness in the pocket and a football presence.

Limited film to watch and mostly mop up duty or weaker opponents

I am not picking any of them and hope the staff makes the correct decision picking the best of the 4.

Until our offensive line develops or proves to be a strong unit we need a mobile QB that can find receivers quick and deliver the ball.

Burrow was recruited heavily by Tom Herman when he was QB coach and called the offense for the Buckeyes
It was a loaded QB room at Ohio State, and if it hadn’t been for his hand getting injured which required surgery a week before the 2017 season, things could be different
He battled Haskins this spring, and all indications point to a very close race- Urban did not name a starter. Burrow has to make a tough decision- so not knowing what the outcome could be, he chose to transfer.
Burrow is very athletic and brings a blue collar attitude- and at 6’3 220, he can throw the ball. Although he isn’t going to carry the ball 15 times a game, he is dangerous because he can move the pocket, he can extend the play, he throws pinpoint darts on the run...and if the pocket breaks down he can run. But his strongest attributes, he is very accurate, he has a quick release, he is very intelligent, and he can throw it deep and on target (look at the last play of the spring game this year where he froze the safety and hit McCall with pretty good coverage in stride with a perfect pass - 50+ yards in the air) LSU got a good one here in Joe Burrow

You can’t believe this.
