Do you guys really think you have a chance with that defense and your back up QB?

LSU 37- UCF 17 LSU Time of Possession : 40 minutes

People like to claim time of possession as if it actually means anything. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost time of possession in every single game we played.

When your offense scores in 90 seconds, t.o.p. means nothing.

I’ll never forget in 2011 against Oregon. Mingo ran down the Oregon running back from behind in the backfield. I think that is when chip Kelly realized oh that is what they are talking about.

He admitted as much in the press conference afterward saying "We don't see that size and speed where we play."

Serious question, if you played UCF’s schedule (including conference championship games and bowl game), do you think LSU would’ve won 25 straight games?

Yes

So would half of P5 teams. You're lucky your game with GT got canceled. That would have been it.

This year, I think likely 2 losses, and maybe 3.

Holy sh*t

So you think you beat...

Miami, Georgia, Miss St, Even Ole Miss, @ Auburn, and possibly @ A&M?

Unless there was one in the A&M game, LSU hasn’t given up a play of 50+ all season. Good luck depending on big plays.

My bottom line is that if both played their best games, LSU wins by 20 easily. The problem is that LSU only gets up for 3 or 4 games a year, and this will not be one of them. The question is, can UCF beat LSU at 75%. UCF will be up, LSU will not.

Auburn is also one of the most skitzophrenic programs in the SEC. Especially last year - what a weird season.

This is where I call BS. Since I also follow Memphis, I know first hand that the AAC was shite this year. Memphis, Houston, USF, and Navy were all worse this season than last. The rest of the conference together managed one win vs a P5 team with a winning record, and that was a mediocre unranked GA Tech.

For reference, look at Memphis vs Missouri, a middle of the pack SEC team. They beat Memphis a LOT worse than you did. That game was never remotely close. Memphis’ line pushed your team off the ball with ease until your coaches stacked the box. Memphis couldn’t establish any run game at any point vs a good SEC defense.

But go ahead and ramble on about how good Toolame, Temple, and ECU are.

Did you miss the fact that South Florida, our East Divisions 4th best team slayed GT?

If you have a location in your name, you are third tier in your state, at best. In your program’s case, fourth tier. You might as well accept it, because it took FSU 15 years of winning against real teams to move up the ladder, and they did it when there was more room to make a move. Unless the Big 12 throws your program a bone, UCF will never rise higher than it is at this moment. No number of wins in a row will change that. If it did, Mount Union would be in the Big 10 instead of Division 3.

If we're talking the last 2 seasons, and not some hypothetical future, then I say no doubt we would have gone undefeated last year in the SEC West.

No one went undefeated in the SEC West over the past two years and no way UCF would have.

I'm sure University of Southern California would disagree.

Bragging about another team beating a middling GA Tech team that UGA had finished off in the first quarter? This is what you have to do if you are in a good for the Group of 6 conference that’s having a down year. You can’t prop your schedule up. Even the transitive property won’t save you. The Emperor has no clothes.

It means a lot when you're playing any team worth a shite. Obviously, it isn't everything, but between two evenly matched teams, the team that wins the TOP will, more times than not, win the game.

If the game comes down to the 4th quarter, I'll take the team that has controlled the clock all game and kept the other team's defense on the field every time. And that's what I suspect will happen here. I can see a 24-17 type game moving into the 4th quarter then LSU will start leaning on a tired UCF defense.

An notable exception that certainly doesn’t apply to your school. USC you are not. Last I checked, they have a few of everything on UCF, which is still the fourth tier program in the state of Florida by all historical, conference, and financial measures. A win streak in the AAC will never overcome those factors.

You will get a reminder of this soon when a bigger school comes and throws the bank and the promise of a real opportunity to get into the playoff at your coach. Repetitive coach shopping is a sign that you are a successful stepping stone program.

Sooooo....transitive property doesn’t work well when applied to college football.

We beat UGA by 20 and made them look like they didn’t deserve to be on the same field with us, yet they turned around and gave Bama all they wanted...but Bama beat the brakes off of us.

See...it doesn’t work.
