Hello from Arizona.

My wife and I are now retired and starting to fill our bucket list, an SEC game is on the list.
We are planning to come to your LSU / UGLY (ucla) Game. We thought it would be fun to see LSU beat our old enemy ucla for our 39th anniversary.
Already have tickets but have a few questions.
Any tips on where to park or should we Uber, tailgating options, how early should we plan to get there, what to do and not to do, are there any BIG No No's (we out of towners) should know about.
Can we wear some Arizona gear (red&blue) or is that a No No.
Is there anything going on Friday night or any suggestions.
All suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, from an ARIZONA Fan/LSU Fan on the 21st.

Do not Uber. Buy a parking pass and don't be stingy, you will thank me. Then be patient as hell in the post-game traffic.
If you want to have fun with the locals, thow an LSU hat or purple and gold beads on your Arizona gear.
I'm expecting (and challenging) someone in this thread to invite you to a tailgate - DO IT.
Make reservations at Louisiana Lagniappe or another of our fine restaurants for Friday night.

Are you staying in BR?
If so I'd recommend the Chimes on Highland on Friday night.
Parking, that depends a lot on where you're staying. If downtown, you could park in one of the hayfield lots and drive back downtown on river road. If you're staying in one of the hotels off College Drive you need to park in one of the lots around South Stadium Drive.

If you come around the Ag center, you will be fed and given alcohol. I’ll be on the lookout, friend.

Pairrains (sp?) to eat for some good “Cajun” food, fried food, oysters…
Near campus, should be full before a game ( get there early…5ish), post up at the bar. You can order and eat there as well…
If you’ve never had it… try the whole catfish. They cut the head off, gut and skin it, then fry. Much more flavor than the filets!

Got rooms yet? The Stockade B&B is very nice and not too far from campus. Sammy's across the street has solid chow.

Thanks for all the tips. (Great link PenguinPubes!)
Sorry for not getting back to you all earlier, but got kinda busy.
We will be leaving Thursday morning for New Orleans. Get some good food and Jazz.
Then head to Baton Rouge LSU. Plan to go to the volleyball game, to check out the arena and watch the game. Then check out The Chimes (thanks Butch)
Next morning head to the game early, we got a parking pass for Lot 409 (thanks Pete).
Then start wandering around the campus. (Fournette4Heisman777 we will look for the Ag center, I'm an old 4-h'er)
If any of you see two bewildered fans with purple shirts that say "ARIZONA" on them say HI!
Beat UGLY!!
