Nothing to hang our heads on after another solid season from Wade. He’s been statically already one of our best HCs ever and he’s still young.

If I could nit pick him, he hasn’t seemed to be able to develop a bench and his teams don’t stress ball movement, defense or rebounding.

Obviously we have been one of the best offensive teams in the country under Wade as well as one of the better free throw shooting teams.

I think if we can hit on a few of these bigs that he has recruited, LSU could be in a much better spot from a defensive and rebounding standpoint.

We need a balanced roster with true point guards and big men.

I love Wade but I feel like he's got a little too much of Jonah Hill's character in Money Ball in him. Relies a bit too much on analytics and not enough on defense and X's and O's. The analytics are good but he needs to put more emphasis on defense.

What he needs is some stability on the roster so he can build some depth and bring guys up in the program.

He has a really good nucleus for that with Wilkinson, Gaines, Cook and Gray. He just needs to get those kids to progress, and he needs to get Hyatt, LeBlanc and O'Neal to make a leap next year. The talent is there.

And it's really there with the three freshmen he's brought in. None of them are McDonald's All-Americans but they're all legit players who should contribute next year.

Then add one or two ballers via transfer. I think Seneca Knight is going to surprise some people. He's a scorer who can create, and he brings length and rebounding that we haven't had at the 2 in a long time.
